The Magician shows an envelope with a prediction in it, he then shows a number of cards in the shape of shoes with different colours on them.

He proceeds to count the cards on the table asking the spectator to say stop, this is a totally free choice and he then shows the different colour cards before and after the stopped card. This shows that had the spectator stopped on them a totally different colour would have been picked.

He then opens the envelope to reveal he has correctly predicted the spectators freely chosen stopped at card.

There’s magic afoot with Prediction Shoes.

The magician places an envelope on the table and shows the spectator his selection of coloured shoes printed on cards. The shoes are dealt face down one-by-one and the spectator stops the magician at ANY point. The selected shoe is put face down to the side. The envelope is opened and the prediction taken out. It’s a red shoe. When the spectator’s shoe is turned over it’s a matching red shoe! How did you know that was their favorite color shoe?
